Boston Area English Alumni Gather for EHSA Fundraiser Breakfast

More than 60 alumni representing eight decades attend the first Alumni Fundraiser Breakfast of 2023

On April 21st, more than sixty English alumni gathered for breakfast at the Newton Marriott hotel as guests of The English High School Association.

The program featured updates on the English sport programs including a high-light reel of our last two consecutive Thanksgiving day victories over Latin. Featured guest speakers were both widely-respected aviation industry experts,  Mike Kalafatas ’61, and John Goglia ’62. Goglia is a former member of the National Transportation Safety Board and co-host of the popular podcast, The Flight Safety Detectives. Kalafatas is the author of Bird Strike – The Crash of the Boston Electra – about the crash of a Lockheed Electra jet out of Logan Airport.
