News from English High Alumni and Today’s Students
English High School provided me with an opportunity to prepare for college, to become an honor role student and to receive an athletic letter in Cross-Country and Track & Field.I enjoyed attending school with racially mixed students from Boston and the surrounding ethnic areas.I would like to see my high school continue the tradition of educating students in an inner-city environment.I love the school colors – Blue and Blue.It was an honor for me to wear my athletic jacket with the letter ‘E’ on the front. In my senior year, my cross-country teammates and I became state champions.I will cherish that moment always and hope that future generations of English High School students will take advantage of the opportunity to become scholars and athletes at an outstanding educational institution.
