I am the newest member of the EHSA Board. It has been a wonderful experience! I am so very proud of the different opportunities that EHS provides for not only the current students but for also for fellow graduates. In celebrating the idea of “paying it forward”, I have organized a discussion panel for EHS students who are interested in going in to the field of education. Fellow alum and other educators from across the city will join me in answering any questions the students may have about the field in hopes of recruiting more like minded educators. I also look forward to attending more of the upcoming events. It feels like I have returned to a family that has grown and developed exponentially!
In early January 2020, members from the class of ’94 and ’95 attended the memorial service of our fellow EHS alum, Kojo Calhoun, and then after we met up to have toast in his name. We want to start meeting up regularly rather than only coming together if someone has passed away. Separate from that, my husband is about to celebrate his 7th year of owning his food truck and 2nd year of opening his restaurant, Rhythm N’ Wraps. If anyone knows how he could get a beer and wine license, that would be awesome!
