Health Assisting and Wellness Pathway
The English High School’s Career Pathways Program is one of the most exciting programs emerging across BPS, one that prepares students to be leaders in college and career.

Business/Finance/Entrepreneurship Pathway
Students entering Grade 9 will embark on a journey to understand their unique interests, perspectives, and learning styles with each student developing an individual educational and career plan. They will have the opportunity to explore careers in:

- Programming and Web
- Legal & Protective Services
The Pathways have been designed to afford students authentic learning experiences that mirror professional workplace environments while developing literacy, numeracy and critical thinking skills. These 21st Century Skills engage students through hands-on, project or problem-based learning that teaches communication, goal setting, and collaboration; culminating in presentations that demonstrate each studentʼs academic growth and accomplishments.

Programming and Web Pathway
Rising 10th grade students will have the opportunity to hone their skills and build valuable knowledge while earning rigorous and in-demand industry- recognized credentials as they earn their high school diploma and prepare for post-secondary options.
The use of current and emerging technologies will be integrated throughout the curriculum as our students earn industry recognized credentials and certifications including; Adobe Certified Associate, Comp TIA, Microsoft Certified Professional Developer, Cisco, Microsoft Office Specialist, QuickBooks, Customer Service and Sales, CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Fitness Instructor.
EHS serves grades 9-12. We accept students at all grades. School hours are 7:20 am to 2:20 pm. Homework help and academic support is available until 3:30 pm, except on Tuesdays, when all teachers attend professional development and discuss student needs to better support them in their high school journey.
