EHSA Remembers EHS Teacher Donald Foley with Donation to Fisher House of Boston

When former English High School teacher, Donald Foley of West Roxbury passed away in December, 2020, there was an outpouring from former colleagues asking if EHSA could “do something” to commemorate this incredible person and amazing teacher.

Donald Foley taught at English High School for 21 years from 1973 to 1994. He has been described by his fellow teachers as “amazing and incredibly dedicated.” He was also an honored veteran having served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the USS Enterprise.

At EHSA we too believe that Mr. Foley was a “Man of Honor and Achievement” in English High parlance, a true Blue and Bluer. That is why we are honored to have made a donation, in Mr. Foley’s name, to the Fisher House Boston for all of the good work they do for veterans.

Thank you Mr. Foley.
