EHS Alumni Support Spring Football ’21
Boston Public Schools delayed the 20-21 football season because of COVID-19. Two weeks ago, teams were finally able to take the field for scrimmage-pairings.
One abbreviated Spring Season’s matches was pairing of Boston Latin v. English. No score was kept in the scrimmage format but reliable sources on the scene report that “English definitely scored more touchdowns than Latin!”
Last week had English High hosting Latin Academy. Representatives from the EHSA on hand to cheer on the English team were, L to R, Mike Thomas ’67 Clarence Ross ’64, wearing what he claimed was his former football jersey; Jerry Burrell ’67 wearing his EHS Track Letter sweater; and Wayne Lucas ’68, member of the EHSA board of directors.
As always, Go Blue and Blue!
