May 2021: EHSA President’s Message

Miles to Go Before We Celebrate Our 200th Anniversary

In case you are wondering what our 200th Anniversary Celebration is going to look like, let me update you with a few wonderful details. The 200th Anniversary Committee (still open seats) and EHSA Board of Directors are hard at work:

  1. Culling names of firms and contacts for sponsorship fundraising support.

  2. Spreading the word to all alumni, especially classmates.

  3. Gaining endorsements of key Boston business leaders and influencers. If you know anyone who can open doors or refer us to any firm, please chime in.

If you can contribute in one of these categories above, now is your chance to do your part to help kick off our sponsorship push.

Speaking of giving…
Our Annual Appeal Giving letter will be in your hands by this time next month. You can provide support for our 200th Anniversary Fund by making any size gift, large or small. We really appreciate all who have given already this year, especially after COVID.

To the many of you that have not missed a beat….THANKS FOR SUPPORTING OUR 200TH!

Now onto the fun stuff.
Our Alumni and their amazing success stories continue to reflect so well on English High School and all its graduates. This month’s newsletter on which Dan Eramian ’66 and Penny Welsch (adopted alumna) have outdone themselves shares some of these stories. If these stories do not make you proud to be 200 years old

Be well, take care of yourself and others.
