Eagles Soar on Thanksgiving Day Game – English Downs Boston Latin 40-30

This Thanksgiving, our Blue & Blue took flight in spectacular fashion as English High School triumphed over Boston Latin 40–30 in the 138th edition of the oldest continuous high-school Thanksgiving rivalry in the nation.
It was a defining performance by our seniors and leaders — most notably Isaiah Peebles, who delivered a standout day with three touchdowns. Their explosive offense, guided by senior quarterback Pierre Lovenson, kept Boston Latin’s defense off balance all day.
The win not only brings home a proud victory but also marks the latest chapter in a rivalry steeped in tradition — one that began in 1887 and continues to connect generations of English and Latin alumni each Thanksgiving.
To all English alumni: Whether you cheered from the stands at Harvard Stadium, listened on the radio, or watched from afar — this one’s for you. Go Blue & Blue! 🦅
