Arbella Insurance Foundation Helps EHSA Kick Off Their 200th Anniversary Campaign

On October 2nd The English High School Association officially launched its 200th Anniversary Campaign with a goal of raising $3 million to support scholarships, learning enhancements, and building improvements at The English High School. The Arbella Insurance Foundation, a long-time English High supporter, helped set the pace with a $25,000 gift.

At the recent check presentation are (in photo, left to right) Michael Thomas, EHS ’67, President/CEO of EHSA, and Chair of the 200th Celebration; Francis Bellotti, EHS ’42, Vice Chairman of Arbella Insurance Group, and former Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor; Beverly Tangvik, President of Arbella Insurance Foundation, Inc.; and Gregory Hayes, EHS ’67 and Chairman of the EHSA Board of Directors.

Since 2005, the Arbella Insurance Foundation has been committed to supporting local, nonprofit organizations that work hard to positively impact the lives of the people of New England. The foundations is recognized as a top corporate giver in Massachusetts and strives every day to help neighbors in need. In 2019, the Arbella Insurance Foundation reached tremendous levels of donations and community involvement, giving over $2.5 million in just one year and a total of $30.5 million since its inception.
