Caitlin Murphy is the Head of School of The English High School. Murphy has been a member of the faculty for fifteen years, serving in prior roles as a history teacher, History Department Head, Instructional Coach, and Assistant Principal. She was a semi-finalist for Massachusetts Teacher of the Year in 2016.
She is a magna cum laude graduate of Boston College and holds Masters Degrees in History and Education from Brown University and the University of Massachusetts, Boston, respectively. She is a doctoral candidate at the University of Massachusetts Boston in the Urban Education and Leadership Department.
