John J. Talbot
Class of ’68

Director & Trustee

John Talbot resides in Canton, MA with his wife Anne, were they have lived for over 30 years raising three children, Tara, Rachel and Sean and now with 2 grandchildren Teddy and Annabel. Following graduation from EHS John went on to Boston College and studied Accounting, Finance and Business Administration.  John began his career with Arthur Andersen, an international CPA firm.  He held senior positions with National Medical Care, Children’s Hospital Boston, then a consulting role with Temple Barker & Sloane of Lexington, MA.

In the mid 90’s John founded and developed the first medical home care model company in the U.S., Pathways Healthcare.  Pathways brings physicians and nurse practitioners along with a fully integrated disciplinary team to the home. The medical home model is designed to offer patients a choice of either going to a nursing home for post-acute medical rehabilitation or receive the same level of care in the safety and comfort of their own home. Pathways Healthcare is now in multiple states across the northeast and continues to grow each year.  One of John’s greatest joys of founding Pathways has been working with his son, Sean, Chief Operating and Information System Officer.

Hobbies for John include family vacations, travel and golf.  John is a member at the Blue Hills Country Club in Canton, MA. The last few years his major hobby has been being a part of the Alumni Association of EHS. The association provides enormous satisfaction and gratification working with students, faculty and alumni.  Try it, you will love it!

While attending EHS John played football, baseball and was a member of the debate and band teams.  John owes so much to EHS, especially the faculty and coaches who prepared him for his professional and personal life.
