Raymond Smith III (Ray) A native of Boston graduated from Harvard University (1975). Prior to his employment with the Transportation Security Administration, Ray worked for US Airways. During his years with the airline Ray served as the Manager of Station Administration.  He was responsible for the Training and Development, Payroll , Scheduling, Human Resources and Benefits of the Boston Station.  Ray retired from Polaroid Corporation in December of 1998 after 33 years.

At Polaroid Corporation Ray served as Technical Specialist, Technical Supervisor and Human Resources Administrator.  While at Polaroid he fulfilled his Military obligation in the United States Army Reserves.  His education and employment gave him an extensive background in Chemistry and Photography.

Ray is a life time member of the Sportsmens Tennis Club of Boston and served as a Director of the School for Children in Arlington, MA.  Ray’s wife, Ernestine, is a retired administrator for the Bank of America.

Ray has a son who is a Firefighter in the City of Cambridge, MA and a daughter who is a Sr. Manager for Deloitte in Washington, D.C.
